    Are you allowed to put recepticals inside cupboards, cabinets or kitchen counter appliance garages? I heard that there had to be a diconnecting means on the door [when closed] that shut the plug off?

    In some cases the receptacle must be de-energized unless the enclosure door is fully open.
    Check out 26-710(i)(j)(k)
